The SRAM DUB crank spindle requires the bearing contact points to be in a set and designated width, and all CeramicSpeed bottom Bracket options perfectly match the bearing placement on the crank spindle with the required frame interface for nearly any model of bike. Without the use of unnecessary adapters or spacers, a quiet & stable platform is ensured throughout the life of the product. The ITA for SRAM DUB Road comes in two bearing options. The first option is our low drag, long life Standard Bearing with hardened-steel races and our super-round CeramicSpeed balls. The second option is our Coated Bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. BSA is equivalent to English threading. English threading on road bikes mean a 68mm-wide, 34mm inside diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It's the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit works with 24mm diameter cranks, such as Shimano, FSA, Rotor, and others. Choose between two bearings for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened-steel races and our Ceramic balls. Coated Bearings have those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. English threading is easy to work with, and 24mm spindles easily fit through the shell, allowing for large bearings to be employed in the outside cups. Put more of your energy into forward motion by reducing frictional drag wherever you can. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. CeramicSpeed balls are 100% smoother and 15% harder than ceramic competition. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings. Bottom brackets have several variables, but within that, CeramicSpeed standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. That's thanks to balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. The CeramicSpeed Bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings. Coated Bearings see another big bump in performance. The coated races see a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60%. Performance can be tuned by changing the grease. All Round Grease comes installed, but can be changed for lower drag TT and Track Grease, or higher durability LongLife Grease, which adds a bit of drag but stays in the bearing when riding through messy conditions.
