Soma Riff 27.5 Frame

The Riff is our hardtail frame for 27.5"/650b wheels. Geometry is ideal for single-track, flowy trails, and bikepacking. Tough IRD Broski Sliding Dropouts allow you to go single-speed or geared or even run hub gears. While the industry is telling everyone to get "Boost", the Riff lets you run an OLD 142mm thru-axle (or even 135mm QR with a different insert). Another retro feature: you can use a front derailleur if you want.

Its most unusual option: The Riff is offered in a belt-drive-ready version.

- Tange Prestige heat-treated butted CrMo main tubes
- 12x142mm thru-axle (thru-axle included)
- 44mm head tube for tapered steerer tubes (tapered steerer forks will require an EC44 lower headset cup, straight steerer forks can use a ZS44 lower cup)
- Accommodates a 100/120mm travel fork (69-degree head angle with 100mm fork, 68-degree head angle with 120mm fork)
- Fits up to 27.5 x 2.8" tires
- International Standard disc brake mounts
- Use 34.9 seat clamp and 400mm post recommended
- Pelham Blue to match classic Gibson Les Paul guitars
